Dedications
The Sutherland Trio (Caroline Almonte, Molly Kadarauch and Elizabeth Sellars) together with their friends Danielle and Luca Arcaro perform an all-Australian program of works connected to the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music community. Featuring two world premieres, 'Songs for Manny' by Ella Macens (an ABC Classic commission), and former String Faculty member Antony Doheny’s 'Sicilenne', both written in memory of Emanuel Arcaro
FQ Library at the Dock
Join Flinders Quartet for their inaugural FQ Sessions in the Performance Space at Library at the Dock, Wurundjeri Country/Docklands. Flinders Quartet, Cedar Collective, and MYO Quartet will perform Lee Bradshaw's Four Rooms as part of their FQ Pathways mentoring program. Commissioned by FQ and Bearing Witness, in memory of Emanuel Arcaro, Four Rooms is a musical exploration of mental illness. Whether you already love the string quartet or are hearing one live for the first time, this is the perfect introduction. (approx. 60 min performance, no interval)
